Three cities. Three tournaments. One chance to make the RBA team for AlpineCon 2027. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n Next season, the RedBeard Association is bringing a new series of one-day qualifying tournaments called the Alpine Challenge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n The tournaments will take place in three cities:<\/p>\n\n Olomouc \/ Brno \/ Hodon\u00edn<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The aim of the series is to give players from the region the opportunity to get involved in a competitive environment, gain experience and compete for a place on the team that will be sent to AlpineCon 2027<\/strong> under the RBA banner.<\/p>\n\n The Alpine Challenge is not just a series of one-day tournaments.<\/p>\n\n It’s a qualifying pathway for players who want to take the next step – from individual play towards a team-based international environment.<\/p>\n\n A ranking of the best players will be created based on the results of the tournaments. From this ranking, a team will then be selected and assembled to represent the RBA at AlpineCon 2027<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n Our goal is to give other players from Moravia and surrounding regions the opportunity to experience a big international team event, to get to know a different style of play, strong foreign opponents and an atmosphere that is hard to experience at a regular one-day tournament.<\/p>\n\n The Alpine Challenge will consist of a series of one-day individual tournaments in Warhammer 40,000.<\/p>\n\n Each tournament will be a separate event, but players’ scores will also count towards a common qualifying ranking.<\/p>\n\n From this group of players, the RBA will select a team for AlpineCon 2027.<\/p>\n\n Team selection will not be just about one result from one day. Longer term performance, reliability, attitude to the game, ability to work as a team and willingness to represent the region on the international stage will be important. <\/p>\n\n Each individual winner of the Alpine Challenge will receive an Orange Ticket<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n Orange Ticket means free entry to the singles section of AlpineCon.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The winners of the individual tournaments will not only get points for the qualification ranking, but also a direct reward in the form of the opportunity to participate in the individual part of AlpineCon without entry fee.<\/p>\n\n Alpine Challenge is for players who:<\/p>\n\n You don’t have to be a ready-made rep. You just have to want to play, improve, think about the game and be part of the team.<\/p>\n\n One of the main goals of the RedBeard Association is to develop the wargaming scene in the region and to open the way for players to participate in bigger events.<\/p>\n\n AlpineCon is one of the most exciting international team events in our area, and we want more players – not just those who already regularly attend similar events – to have the opportunity to experience it.<\/p>\n\n The Alpine Challenge is meant to be a bridge between the local tournament and the big international team scene.<\/p>\n\n A place to show not only who can win games, but also who has the attitude, reliability and team spirit needed for bigger events.<\/p>\n\n The Alpine Challenge is your chance to show you’ve got more than just one good game.<\/p>\n\n Every tournament, every result and every point counts.
