Combat Patrol<\/strong> is the perfect way to get started with Warhammer 40,000 – compact and balanced forces battle it out in smaller skirmishes that are not only fun in their own right, but a great foundation for a new army. And new Combat Patrol sets are being added all the time. And right now, three new ones are on the way.<\/p>\n\n

Space Wolves<\/strong> start with a selection of brand new models – five Wolf Guard Terminators<\/strong>, ten Blood Claws<\/strong> and a Wolf Guard Battle Leader<\/strong>, with five Wulfen<\/strong> added to bring their brutality to level 11. The combination of speed, durability and numbers makes them the perfect core of the new Space Wolves army – and one of the strongest melee forces in the Combat Patrol format.<\/p>\n\n

Of course, some would beg to differ…<\/p>\n\n

If you need proof that the Black Templars<\/strong> are serious about dominating in close combat, just take a closer look – their new Combat Patrol includes the Emperor’s Champion<\/strong> himself. The ten-man Crusader Squad<\/strong> can keep up in both firefights and duels, but the real strength lies in the trio of Bladeguard Veterans<\/strong> and five Sword Brethren<\/strong>. Just a real prickly bunch.<\/p>\n\n

And of course – they’ll need someone to fight with. And who better than the Tyranids<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n

The Tyranid Assault Brood<\/strong> combines a fast squad of ten Genestealers<\/strong>, three heavily armored Tyrant Guards<\/strong>, and one Biovore<\/strong>, giving you solid short- and long-range striking power – plus the terrifying Mortrex Parasite<\/strong>, a unique bioform that descends from the heavens and lays larval eggs in its victims.<\/p>\n\n
