One-day tournament in Warcry
Warcry tournament a little different – and totally RedBeard style
12 players. 12 warbands. Nobody wears anything. Everyone’s fighting for glory.
Cry for Glory is an unconventional, community-oriented Warcry tournament organized by the RedBeard Association – and the first ever event to officially introduce us to the Warcry scene in the Czech Republic.
It will take place as part of the Crystal Contest, the largest Czech miniature painting competition, and will offer a top-notch hobby experience in addition to games.
What’s going on?
- The tournament is for 12 players
- No one brings their own warband – all miniatures will be provided by the organizers
- There will be 12 fully painted warbands on site
- Warbands will be divided into 4 factions (Chaos, Order, Death, Destruction) – 3 warbands from each faction
- Players randomly draw a warband at the start of the tournament – so everyone starts from scratch
Why like this?
Cry for Glory is built on the idea of fairness, chance and pure game skill.
Everyone plays with what they get. No one has an advantage. Everyone has to read the situation quickly, adapt their style and show game sense.
We also want to show that Warcry is a game for everyone – even if you don’t own a warband.
No barriers. Just battle, glory and fun.
What are we looking for?
Cry for Glory is the Red Beard Association’s gateway to the world of Warcry.
We want to introduce ourselves to the community, offer a quality and friendly gaming environment, bring new formats and take the tournament scene a step further – not just in competition, but in attitude. But most of all, we want to have fun.
This event will be the first in a series of themed Warcry events under the RBA banner.
And if you survive – next time, maybe even with your warband…
When and where and how?
Cry for Glory takes place as part of Crystal Contest 2025 – 1.11.2025
As the tournament will be part of the exhibition and competition, an entrance fee of 350,-Kč will be collected, which the RBA will donate to the Crystal Contest organizers to support their efforts on the Czech scene.

And of course some prizes await the winners, but we’ll save that for later.
