RB Crusade – 40k tournament series (Brno / Olomouc / Hodonin)

The RB Crusade is a new series of one-day Warhammer 40,000 tournaments, which this year will take place in three cities: Brno, Olomouc and Hodonín. Each city has its own “Crusade” stop, its own community, and its own player leaderboard – and all of it comes together to form one collaborative tour to play for the title of Brno / Olomouc / Hodonín champion.

The series is built on regularity: tournaments will rotate at intervals across cities so that everyone can play at home and go “out” and compete against other metas.

Series stops

Brno – Oil Hammer Crusade

Tournament stop in Brno. Tough meta, fast games, honest WTC setup.

Olomouc – Crown Crusade

Olomouc “crown” stop. Local ranking + open door for all who want to measure their strength outside their bubble.

Hodonín – Geek Crusade

Hodonínská zastávka – community vibe, but still tournament format. You come, you play, you score.

How the Tour and Rankings work

• Each city has its own player leaderboard (points are accumulated within a given Crusade).
• The tournaments will regularly alternate between Brno, Olomouc and Hodonín.
• Thanks to the unified format and conditions, you can:
  • keep the consistency of performance in the “home” Crusade,
  • or go to other cities and try different bases and different matchups.
• The result is a local competition for the city champion and a common “tour atmosphere”.

Prizes at the end of the Tour

At the end of the Tour, each winner of each Crusade (city) will receive valuable prizes in the form of vouchers to a local shop/games room.

• Brno: voucher to Brno gambling hall/shop
• Olomouc: voucher to Olomouc gambling hall/shop
• Hodonín: voucher to Hodonín playroom/shop

(The specific amount and announcement rules will always be listed for the Crusade’s tournaments.)

WTC terrains and uniform conditions

The RBA (RedBeard Association) equipped all three WTC playrooms with terrains and mats. This means:

• Consistent distribution of tables across cities,
• fair conditions for training and competition,
• players can participate in a “local league” for the city champion without being distracted by differences in terrain.

Tournament format

RB Crusades are one-day tournaments played under WTC rules.
They are also part of the ITC rating.

• One-day format (fast, brisk, no unnecessary cotton wool)
• WTC ruleset (terrains, missions, standards)
• ITC rating (tournament results are written into the rating)

Who’s it for

• You want to play regularly and be motivated to improve.
• You want a local rivalry and the opportunity to go to another base.
• You want a uniform tournament standard (WTC tables) and a fair playing field.
• You want to collect results for the ITC rating.
