Black Oil Brno
Warhammer 40,000 Two-Day Individual Tournament
RB Cup – Two-day tournament for experienced and new players!
Looking for a Warhammer 40,000 tournament where you can take on the best, but learn from more experienced players? The RB Cup is a two-day 2,000-point tournament taking place in Brno at BlackOil, featuring intense battles in a friendly environment!
Our goal is to bring together experienced and new players
The RB Cup is part of the competitive side of the game, but the atmosphere is open and friendly. We want it to be a place where every player can find their place – whether it’s in the pursuit of victory or gaining new experiences. This gives newcomers a unique opportunity to learn directly from the best players, improve their strategic skills and gradually integrate into the tournament world.
Black Oil provides the space completely free of charge and as it’s a pub, you’re not expected to bring your own snacks and drinks, but use something from BO’s menu.

Requirements for the army
The army must be Battle-forged and the point limit for building it is 2000 pts.
WYSIWYG – required at least to a minimum degree (Rhino being a proxy for Repulsor is not recognized, having Lascanons instead of Heavy Bolters is. If unclear, contact the event organizer)
FP (full paint) – +10VP. It is necessary to have a unit painted with at least three colors (shading and highlights are welcome, but we can survive without them)
Time keeping
Players can use a clock to play, where each player then has 1.5 hours. When one player’s time runs out, the other player can continue the game. The player without time can only roll saves and FNPs.
If they do not use the clock, they will end the game immediately and count the current points. Effects that count at the end of the game count towards the scoring as if the game had ended in a lower round. If less than 10 minutes remain in the game, a new battle round is not started.
Mission Pack
The game will be played according to the rules and FAQ issued no later than 11.1. 2026
The following missions will be played in the following order:
R1. HAMMER AND ANVIL – Hidden Supplies

R2. CRUCIBLE OF BATTLE – Scorched Earth

R3. CRUCIBLE OF BATTLE – Purge the Foe

R4. TIPPING POINT – Linchpin

R5. SEARCH AND DESTROY – Take and Hold

Each game will be evaluated by the difference in VP (victory points earned during the game) between the two opponents. Based on this difference, each player will be awarded game points = GP (game point) according to the table below. The player with the higher number of VPs is player A.
Difference VP Game points for player A Game points for player B
0 – 5 10 10
6 – 10 11 9
11 – 15 12 8
16 – 20 13 7

The player with the higher number of GP wins the game. In the event of a tie, it is a draw. The number of GPs determines the position of the players in the overall tournament standings. The player with the highest number of GPs wins the tournament. In the event of a tie, the player with the most wins in total for the entire tournament is the higher ranked player.
